ALASKA. Daughter of the Neumünster Champion Morgenglanz, Alaska was bred by Edith Kosterka. Alaska is one of three remaining Morgenglanz*E* daughters at Holders Hill. "Feminine, expressive, well-balanced" were some of the adjectives used by her Inspector when she captured the Reserve High-Point Mare status at her Inspection.

Alaska belongs to the special group of Trakehners originally owned by Edith Kosterka and originally willed to the University of Illinois. We are honored to have her here at Holders Hill.
Inspected at the 'mature' age of 21, this sweet mare exemplifies the wonderful characteristics of the breed.
